We knew this was coming. Utah needs to vote him out! We all need to stand together strong again and let them know no amount of land is for sale in the west! HUD should be working on funding for housing in the cities where it is needed.

Please also express outrage re Emil Bove for the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals.

Senate Judiciary Committee hearing today was a fiery about Bove, Trump’s personal lawyer. He fired Jan 6 prosecutors, dropped charges against Eric Adams and urged officials to ignore court orders.

For what it’s worth, I got a no sale statement from zinke’s office today, but I trust him about as far as I’d like to kick him

Thank you Wes for your vigilance, and help to find outlets for dissent.

I live in Utah, because of the beautiful landscape and access to nature, certainly not for the politics. I grew up in Texas, with no public land, and I appreciate even more the importance of preserving the solitude, the wildness, and nature. Mike Lee is a disgrace, morally, environmentally, and socially.

Looks like "population centers" are now defined as having 5,000 or more people. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/u-s-census-bureau-redefines-the-meaning-of-urban-areas-in-america

I continue to be concerned about the inclusion of checkerboard pieces and remote difficult to manage pieces which sound oxymoronic if they are only 5 miles from a population center. And, if a rancher or other property owner owns a number of checkerboards, they can buy an unlimited number of public parcels within those they own. Where is the discussion on these lands? It almost sounds like they may not be subject to the 5 mile rule.

Wouldn't this too fail the Byrd rule from the parliamentarian? Seems like the substance of this is so similar, but with smaller numbers
