For years Steve Rinella has supported the common man when it comes to hunting and fishing and is a very smart guy but me thinks he's been hanging with the Fatcats too much lately and has lost his roots.
The information you laid out should be in every outdoors/conservation group/media (but it will not due to the fear of being retaliated against) about what is happening rather than the green washing going on by all the right running for cover for all their sins.
dont lose faith in the meateaters and disparaging them doesnt help the cause. if you listened to the 'cast lately its becoming obvious, never more so than when "they" called Zinke a d!ckhead last week... we need to band folks like Cam, Steve and Rogan together with the cause. I dont think it will take much prodding...
As a person who also has a public facing persona, I'd caution you against assuming that what you see on TV is what you get in reality. These guys all reluctantly spoke out about public lands, but are nowhere on the fact that the budget will kill 51,000 Americans per-year, or the 200,000 kids already killed by cutting USAID, or in issues more relevant to the outdoors, that the administration is eliminating all federal waterfowl conservation efforts as we speak.
Yes, there is an opportunity to recapture young men away from anti-American policies of hate and destruction here. I do not believe the path leads through people so invested in the destruction of our country.
thanks for the reply! You are making an assumption too are you not? agree these guys are all in the business of making money off the manosphere and that def taints one's perspective. But being cynical about these fellas commitment to public lands (disregarding USAID, totally agree with you but off topic) ... isnt that using the "other" sides playbook. Talking sh!t without taking in the whole picture of their work in the entirety of the space?? They are all dumb.. beyond dumb for thinking for a second that DJT cares at all about the same things they love, but i know a lot of smart people who fell into that trap. I hope by this point all those peeps are at least contemplating that mistake.
Anyway keep on keeping on my brother, love your stuff, wish i could help more
Thank you for this great reporting!

Thank you, I am sharing! Excellent!

Their board includes Jack Selby
Managing Director at Thiel Capital. No bueno!

Thanks for the clarity.
This is choice--really an honest work of helping shine light into the rhetoric.
Keep calling them out!
Thank you! Just wanted to note that Ryan Zinke is a representative from Montana, not Santa Barbara! Keep up the good work!
While ol' Ry Ry represents Montana, he lives in Santa Barbara.
Oh wow, I had no idea. Thank you for sharing
Wait till you learn about his stolen valor. Lotta fake bronze stars on the chests of fascists this week.

Elimination of federal waterfowl conservation is very alarming to me, as a birdwatcher, not a hunter. Can you provide more information on this please?
I'm driving all day, but search birds at the top of this newsletter and then compare that to the story about duck bands on NYT today.
Thank you!
