I really appreciate your post. You are absolutely right. Living in Seattle I’ve gotten to know a Trans through our local coffee shop. Genuine person, funny, sweet and caring. But I’ve always held the belief we are all the same in the eyes of the Lord. What’s going on now is not what Jesus would do. The opposite. The hypocrisy is maddening. I do wish that more people would engage in politics and take seriously our democratic process. When ask prior to the election if this person was going to vote, they said no. Not just this person, but so many people didn’t vote. The consequence of that is playing out before our eyes. I’m willing to fight for every marginalized group, but for the love of God, do your part and vote.
